22 Feb Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 will be presented in China
Recently, we reported that Xiaomi could soon present its new Android tablet Xiaomi Mi Pad 4. A little while ago, the Chinese manufacturer confirmed that the device will be officially unveiled in China on June 25th. Based on recent reports, the fourth generation of tablets should have a 7.9-inch diagonal LCD display with Full HD resolution and 320 PPI as pixel density.
A leaked firmware file suggests an aspect ratio in 18: 9, although not yet confirmed. Furthermore, it is a particularly strange aspect ratio to be used on a tablet. Recent rumors claim that the Chinese company would have decided to adopt this form factor to make using one hand much easier.
Based on the latest news emerging on the network, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor clocked at 2 GHz or 2.2 GHz. Unfortunately, information on RAM and internal storage have not yet been shared but we can tell you that the device should have a micro SD expansion slot to further expand the storage space.
As for the photographic industry, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 would propose a 13-megapixel OmniVision OV13855 rear camera and a 5 mega-pixel Samsung S5K5E8 front. The new Android tablet would have the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system customized with the MIUI while under the aluminum body a 6000 mAh battery.
The recent 3C certification revealed that the device will be paired with a 5V 2A charger, and therefore a 10W charging power. To know for sure the features, functionality, price and availability in Italy of the new Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 we will have to wait.
