15 Dec Xiaomi has sold over 1 million units of Xiaomi Mi 8
After a long wait, Xiaomi presented a few weeks ago the latest top of the Xiaomi Mi 8 range, accompanied by two other versions called Mi 8 SE and Mi 8 Explorer Edition. In recent hours, the Asian manufacturer has boasted of sales of its new flagship obtained in a short time.
All three Android smartphones were launched on May 31 and put on sale on June 5th. In just over two weeks, Xiaomi managed to sell over 1 million units of Xiaomi Mi 8. The announcement was made on Twitter by Donovan Sung, the global spokesman for the Chinese giant.

The Mi 8 Explorer Edition is the first Android smartphone to have 3D facial recognition that works very similar to the Face ID of the iPhone X. This is accompanied by a fingerprint reader integrated under the screen.
The Mi 8 boasts the same Snapdragon 845 processor as the Explorer Edition but the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the back and also has a less advanced facial recognition.
As for the Mi 8 SE, we talk about the first smartphone in the world moved by a Snapdragon 710 chipset, as well as having a dual rear camera and a display with AMOLED technology.
